I really like this Round Pocket Door Lock! Installation was easy and it works exactly aa it should. I’m actually using it on a quirky rotating pair of doors that are similar to a set of bifold doors. One door hinges to a jamb side and the other door hinges to it in the middle so it actually swings all the way around and winds up parallel to and facing the other door and the pair folds back to save space against the wall in a crowded corner of the room where wall space is at a premium. When opened flat the pair swings closed as a single door. But this lock is low profile and allows the doors to close parallel to each other. One important caveat in the design is it’s best to use a very robust set of 4” x 4” ball bearing leaf hinges (or larger if needed) to prevent the doors from sagging and also be sure to use heavy shims between the jambs and the studs in the rough framed door opening to better support the door!

This purchase was an excellent choice and matched the other antique brass hardware in our home. The door stop is firm not flimsy and about an eighth inch longer than the traditional size. Very well made.

Once the hinges were on, they looked great and helped create a little more room in our small guest bathroom.
