I bought this doorknob for an old wood porch door on a 1920 house. The design is solid. I had a previous doorknob that supposedly was a lifetime warranty, but that doorknob turned without opening the door and they never did send replacements that worked.

This one from Stone Harbor works from the start. The only thing is there are some existing holes I need to patch from previous door knobs because this one uses a strike plate with a protruding piece, secured by 2 screws (much better). Basically, you only need one hole through the door - front/back.

I’m happy with it. The knobs are smaller than what you have on a main door, but it works and looks great for my porch door. And the price was excellent.

The lock was perfect for the door. I only wish it came in brown
